The MAX9814ETD+T also features an external resistive divider to control the AGC threshold and a single capacitor to program attack/release times. The AGC hold time is fixed at 30ms. Additionally, it includes a low-noise microphone-bias voltage generator that can bias most electret microphones, enhancing compatibility with different microphone types.
